SWAG ‘Girls Night In’ at M & Co Oh we shopped till we dropped at M & Co clothes store in Sittingbourne High Street at a special event organised by Diversity House and the management of M & Co on 6th September 2017. The shop closed after 6pm and only members invited by the SWAG Team could enjoy the exclusive service of personal shoppers and discounts on purchases made at the shop that evening. African Drumming and Face Painting Uplifted Spirits at Art in The Park

Even though the wind howled and the weather was changeable, nothing could dampen the Diversity House spirit when they came out in full on Saturday 19th August at the Art in the Park event at Milton Creek in Sittingbourne. At their stall the team put on a range of workshops and activities including face painting, mask-making and the popular drumming and dancing workshops provided by Bantu Arts who also performed on the big stage and created quite a stir!

Diversity House Youth Club – July 2017

The Diversity House Youth Club lasted three days in July; each day with a variety of activities for the children to enjoy. SWAG Business Briefing and Networking Meeting – August 2017

August 1st marked a Business Briefing and Networking Meeting held at Ideas Test in Sittingbourne, attended by the CEO of Diversity House Christine Locke, SWAG Project Officer Neema Kambona. Other attendees included Selvum Padiachey, Rosemary Dymond DL (a Lieutenant of Kent) and Mayor of Faversham, Shiel Campbell, and Susan Earl of Utility Warehouse.
