Who We Are

Diversity House was formally established on 27 March 2007, with its first office located at ISP House, Church Street, Sittingbourne. Since its inception, the organisation has grown into a trusted charitable hub delivering both community-based and prison-based services to support diverse communities across Kent.

We are dedicated to promoting community integration, re-integration, social inclusion, and cohesion within Swale and the wider Kent area. Our work focuses on empowering individuals and addressing inequalities by creating opportunities for meaningful participation in society.

At the heart of Diversity House is a strong commitment to equality and respect. We believe that all individuals regardless of race, ethnicity, age, gender, disability, religion or belief, sexual orientation, or social background should be treated with dignity and have fair access to opportunities and services within their communities.
We are also proud to be listed as a local group on the Co-operate platform, a community-driven initiative designed to support and connect local organisations.

Our Mission

Diversity House is committed to promoting community integration, social inclusion, and cohesion within the Swale and Kent communities. We empower individuals particularly those from disadvantaged and underrepresented backgrounds by providing access to education, skills development, health awareness, and opportunities that enable them to achieve their full potential.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a society where diversity is valued as a strength, and where every individual regardless of background feels respected, included, and able to contribute meaningfully to their community.
