Project Description

The project aimed to increase awareness of sexually transmitted infections including HIV among African communities in Swale, Canterbury, Ashford and Shepway.

The aspiration for the project was that African and Caribbean people at risk of HIV infection, including people of undiagnosed HIV infection, were offered a comprehensive range of information opportunities designed to increase their awareness of HIV, the risk factors associated with HIV transmission and safer sex through a range of culturally appropriate interventions.
