DIVERSITY HOUSE
(EXCEL FOR
CHARITY)
POETRY COMPETITION 2009
We are pleased to announce the
first Eastern Light “Excel for Charity” Writing Competition.
This poetry competition is in aid of Diversity House – a
Swale-based charity addressing issues of social integration
and equal opportunities for all. Diversity House recently
hosted a weeklong event; Swale – A Celebration of Cultures
which was a resounding success, and served to bring people
in the Swale area together in brotherhood, friendship and
understanding. The aim of this competition is to give
writers from all over the world a chance to pitch their
skills against those of their peers with the aim of
achieving literary glory, but in doing so, they also
help a charity financially.
