SWAG ‘Girls Night In’ at M & Co
Oh we shopped till we dropped at M & Co clothes store in Sittingbourne High Street at a special event organised by Diversity House and the management of M & Co on 6th September 2017.
The shop closed after 6pm and only members invited by the SWAG Team could enjoy the exclusive service of personal shoppers and discounts on purchases made at the shop that evening.
Certainly, the women and girls who turned up enjoyed a free-range of the whole shop and were at liberty to try out and select the clothes of their choice, all made more pleasant by the offer of free drinks and refreshments.
‘The Girls Night In’ event was organised by the SWAG team as part of their efforts to support women and girls’ look good and feel good about themselves and promote their emotional well -being, one of the key objectives of the SWAG empowerment programme.
As one of the ladies commented, ‘this is a really good idea. It got me out of the house to meet new people and I’m doing my favourite activity – shopping!’
All in all, everyone went home happy having enjoyed an evening of fun, socialising and retail therapy!
