Project Description

Diversity House Youth Project was initiated in summer 2010. It was initially funded by Kent County council’s ‘Positive Activities for young people’ and is now fully affiliated to Kent Youth Project. Originally set up as a result of an influx of migrant communities settling in Swale. The scheme caters for the social needs of youths and the lack of self confidence within this group.

The Youth Project is not just for minority communities. It aims to attract a diverse range of children from all backgrounds and cultures. Although there are other youth projects running in the area, Diversity House aims to keep the scheme as affordable as possible to aid families with a lack of funds.

Diversity House believes the attendees have the opportunity to learn whilst having fun.
